Crystal therapy, litotherapy are part(-s) of quantum medicine. They want to restore informative, energetic and somatic levels of our body. In other words: this therapy is based on the interaction of low-energetical, ecologically pure electromagnetic radiation of crystalls and energetical structures of the human body.(Sometimes I want to find scientific explanations of the "special qualities" of the stones.)
Medicine of Asia teaches us that everything in the nature is provided with energy of the Universe. There is Yin and Yang energy. We are healthy if they are balanced. If we are ill, something is wrong with this equilibrium. If one organ is too active, it's about Yang energy. If the functions of an organ are oppressed, it has too much Yin energy.
All the stones have this 2 types of energy too. For example, chrysocolla has Yin energy. Yin stones absorb energy (pain), Yang stones emit energy, energise the body. With the stones we can add or remove energy of the body and heal it in this way. Mostly are used points or spheres for this treatments but any stone is good too (necklace, ring, bracelet, others). The most important is the right choise of the stone/-s. (that is way zodiac-,birth-, month-stones are very dangerous sometimes, because they don't consider energies).
