We all like feasts and the next is Valentines day . That is why I want to remember talismans in this my post.
I wrote about them in this blog Talismans For Zodiac Signs and different times in my blog in Italian.

As a very short summary we can say talismans are objects that have to attract something to us. Among the most easy to find and loved talismans are semiprecious stones. Yes, you can go to a magician or to an astrologist and buy a "real" talisman with special scriptures on it. Mostly it has psychological value, I think. If I think that I need a real talisman, I'll make everything possible to have a "real" one. But sometimes I do not want to use the object once I have it...

As all the religions say, the most important is your Intention. Add to it a stone that is natural accumulator of informations and energies -and you have your talisman. Very well is if this talisman was a gift to you. In fact, everybody will say you, stones become easier "special" if they are gifted to the person.

But the most powerful, as they say, is carnelian. Do you remember that story about Lord Byron? Read The Cornelian once more. Why a simple poetry provoke so "important" conclusion about the sexual orientation of the poet? Woud it the same if that gift was not Carnelian but Black Onyx for example? In this case, somebody would inform us maybe, that Lord Byron teached black magic or what else, don't you think?

Sometimes I hear that the person wanted to gift a stone to a friend or to a loved one, but renounced to do it because that person said, he/she does not want/love the/this stone.

Well, in any case, you have not to gift to your friend a stone that he/she does not like.
There are persons that do not like this or that color, and the pastel tones are not for everybody for example. But you want the person accepts and enjoys your choise.

There are 2 ways to convince your friend.

First, you can explain your choise to your partner/friend/relative.

Symbolism of the stone, of the color. Or maybe prepare him/her showing the stone and telling why you like it and what it means for you. If your partner loves you or you are important for him/her, the stone will assume the value of talisman for him/her.

If your partner does not like stones at all, but you want to make this gift for different reasons, it could be more difficult. You will need more time, repeat how you like him/her wearing this gift, tell more and more times what pleasure for you is if he/she wears it... Etc. Every person is slave of habits. Make so, that he/she wears the stone and it will become a habit for him/her. So maybe the next time (very possible) he/she will ask you to buy him/her a new stone.

Why is it important, to convince? Because it will provoke other behaviour of your partner and other mental attitude in relation to the stone. And the stones like to be loved.

From Shub-Ad And Prophet Mahomet To Pushkin With Carnelian

It was very amuzing to read yesterday about Carnelian.
Why suddenly this stone if I said, I'll write about green stones next time? I don't know sincerely what provoked this curiosity. Probably decided finally to begin the cure of my eyes with it. Or because I like my last neckace from carnelian too much.

In any case I found a very interesting article about this stone telling about famous persons that loved it. They lived in different epoches, and there were many men between them too.

To begin the "slideshow":
the first objects made from carnelian come from 800-60 000 years ago. The first talisman was made 18 000 years ago.

Bible writes about it.

Necklaces from carnelian had queen Shub-Ad from the town Ur- 5 000 years ago.

Prophet Mahomet weared a ring with carnelian on the little finger of the right hand. He said that everybody who weares this stone will never be poor and all his desires will be carry out by the will of Allah (if you know precise words, I'll be happy if you write me them.

Napoléon III Bonaparte had a pendant or a ring (I'm not sure) with carnelian.

Cleopatra had pendants and a vase for her eyeshadow made from carnelian.

Tamerlan/Timur had a belt buckle with carnelian.

Lord Byron received a ring with carnelian from one of his puples and wrote a poem about it (The Cornelian) the fact that allowed to suppose his non traditional sexual orientation.
Goethe wrote that carnelian gives many benefits to thosewho believes in it.
Many poets declared this stone as their talisman and Pushkin said even that his gift to create poesies depends from his ring with carnelian.

Semiprecious Stones For Eyes

...and than, is there a stone that is good for the eyes? I have these problems from time to time and eye infections.

This post is a summary of the semiprecious stones that are advised to use to heal the eyes and to improve the eyesight.

Agate improves the sight if weared for long time.
Aquamarine is very useful for the sight.
Turquoise improves the siht if you look at it every morning.
Malachite is an ingredient of ayurvedic medicines for eyes.
Opale is very good for sight. It protects from infective illnesses.
Peridot is good for illnesses of the eye.
Amber if transparent is good for the eye diseases.
For eye diseases are good: emerald, lapis lazuli, scapolite, chrysoprase.

I want to add to this list this information: I read a report of one specialized clinic that said Carnelian improves sight if you look at it 10-15 minutes a day. I wanted to do this exercise but frget everyday because am too busy with different tasks.

Where Have I To Keep My Stones

I wanted to ask you where is better to keep the stones (in a wooden box, in a cardboard box etc)

Normally the advise you will hear to keep your stones and jewerly generally in special cassettes covered inside with velour. It's lid has to close it very tightly. This has to protect your stones from sun, from blows, from dust and ... from persons.

I can tell you a story in this connection.
Years ago I knew a prosperous family. I was a friend of their oldest daughter and they treated me as a daughter too, and I was practically a member of the family. One day the mother called me and asked if I've seen their jewels that were in this open box in that place before, because they did not find different pieces that were there.

I've never seen their jewels and did not know about their existance, so I could not help them. Some time later friends of that family saw a relative of the family that sold some of their rings in the market. That girl used to come in the house, knew where the jewels were, and took some of them every visit.

With this story I wanted only to say that you have to take things of value for you so to not create "nice tentations" for everybody who enters your house.

The other advise is to take out the jewels at least once a month and wipe them.
Some of them like silver d not like air, others do not like sun, humidity, dust -as many stones.

From other side there are many persons that canot buy that special cassettes because sometimes they have very high cost (and are even pieces of art). What can I do, they ask. As for me, you have not create senseless problems. Take a box you like and use it. Make it more soft with velour paper or with any rag, if you want.

You have to take your amber in a special box because it is not hard as stones and metalls or something other could scratch it.

You have to take your pearls in a special box too.

Than there are "jewels" that have for you spiritual value. Those can be stones or any object you use for your practices. These you have to take in special wrappings. And you have not give them to oher persons.

Finally, if you use your stones for healing practices, ou have not give them to other persons too. Those are your personal stones, they contain your personal information because stones "absorb" your informations to heal you. That is why is completely mistaken give yur stones to "play", watch and use to somebody else.

A Stone That Is Good For My Character

Hi, I look for a stone that is good for my Zodiac Sign and for my character and psyche. The problem is that I can't find a definitive answer to this question. Some blogs say, the best for Sagittarius is Amethyst, other write that sodalite, one more speaks about turquoise and finalli one says that I have to wear azurite. Now I ask myself: and if I make a bracelet with All these stones will they work together or not?

I recieved this mail yesterday and was surprized by the solution that this girl found to resolve the problem. I wrote different times about the choise of a right stone for every person, psychic in my italian blog but in this blog too. For example To Choose The Right Stone

If you want to buy a special stone for you, you have to listen to your soul, your internal voice.
Open a page where you can see different stones like this page "About Stones" of my main site.
Or go in a shop where you can see different stones and nobody will disturb you for some time when you watch them. Unfortunatelly it is difficult sometimes because the sellers want you absolutelly buy if you want to stay in the shop. So, maybe is better to experiment with a web site. In my "About Stones" page there are more than 20 different stones. So, look at them. Today, tomorrow, aftertomorrow. There is nobody who disturbs you, you have not pay for it, I will not receive money for the number of your visits, so be quiet and scroll them. Look at other pages, there is not problem.

After some time you will notice that there is a/some stone/s that "look at you". Between all the stones you will feel better with only those that your body needs in this moment. THIS is your stone (or maybe stones).

Unconsciously you will find what you look for. Maybe it will be love from the first sight. And all other visits will only confirm your wish. Or you will need different visits to understand that you stop always near this one. Listen to yourself. Do not listen to the calendars etc. I wrote my opinion about Zodiac in different articles (read in Zodiac label of this blog) but you can find something similar, opinions, in many sites. If you want zodiac stone, ask about it by a serious personal astrologist and not in a calendar written for al the world. Think a minute: how can be valid for you what is valid for 6 milliards persons? You are a very special organism, you have your unique life, you need a personal solution. You are not a sheep in a flock. Sometimes it is good to be a sheep, but not in this case, believe me.

Fluorite To Purify Spirit And Home

There are different stones that you can use to purify your home, to attract prosperity, health etc. Maybe you will laugh reading these words. It is so: if we have not a dramatic situation, we do not want hear anything in the life except our own ego. It's normal. But when the situation becomes difficult, we remember everything and everybody was mentioned at least once at our memory and begin to look for these solutions while the "normal" solutions do not help. In this case we begin to pray, to visit mediums, to do strange things. After some time the dramatic situaton is corrected and we are aware WHAT or WHO helped us -and we believe it. But time passes and we forget and become sceptic once more. ...till the next tragedy in the life. (original photo 2), (original photo 3)

Is it not so? Yes it's so.

Well, I'll tell you one of similar stories that happend in my life.

I had a "friend" -a neighbour that lived in the house of the relatives of my husband near me. My husband has not good relations with his uncles, cousins and others. They could not enter in our house. So, they sent me this woman to feign a friend and to spy what is happening here. They thought, as a foreigner I'm completely stupid and mad. No matter that I have university and half life of studies in my life and the best of them (like this my "friend") only 3 years of primary school. They thought, I'm an idiot because I'm foreigner. It's a mentality of all closed communities like one where I live now. These are historical rules of survivance.

So, the woman began to come to me, to say me she is my best friend and to tell me such stupidities that no one would tell to a normal person. All it to enter my house and to spy what her "masters" wanted to know. But she did not liked this task she had to do, really. And she did not like me too. You can not believe me, but when she was in my house and looked in every place she wanted to look, there was very great negative energy in the house. It was letterally palpable. Not only. After she went away, the impression was that the things around me move and will fall from the force of this negativity. And it remained for some days, this negative energy.

I was very unhappy for this problem. I'm a person that wants calm and quiet around me. And I could not catch this woman once and forever without making all her senders (read: all the relatives of my husband) my active enemies. What could I do?

I had to purify this energy.
And how had I to do it?
:) I remembered everything I've ever heard in my life about such situations. And I did what I remembered. And the situation become better with protection of these forces.

This is the example of what I'm teling you about.
And that is the meaning of:
Fluorite is one of the stones that absorb negativity, reduce stress, purify and detoxify spirit and places.
