The Mala From Lapis Lazuli

This morning I controlled the keywords that were used to find my site and visited different sites that offer Mala made from semiprecious stones. Once I falt in this trap that I had to pay very much. So, I wanted to write here once more about this problem.

I wrote different times about the treatments and prices of the stones. For example
Do You Know What Influences The Price Of A Gemstone
What Is The Real Value Of A Precious Stone

It's true, all we wanted to buy something exceptional and unique and pay it so much as rubbish, trash. Everybody knows it. And everybody uses it. Why we do not think that the vendor canot buy a precious stone for less that he paid for it? And if he paid too less means that there is something wrong there.

100_3843.jpgOnce I ordered a mala from Azurite in US. It's a relatively expensive stone. Maybe because it's not easy to find. I paid relatively big sum all together and was very happy to receive the mala of my dreams. After one -two months my mala became nude. It was Howlite tinctured in surface. The vendor wrote me first that it was reconstructed stone. But it was not true. It was only painted in surface.

After that he changed me the mala with one made from reconstructed stones. It was not what I was interested in, because I was interested in the properties of the natural stone. I paid the taxes once more (to receive a pack from US I have to pay taxes that cost me higher as the mala). And on this photo you can see my poor mala. "Azurite" mala after one -two months of use.

Now I give you an example how much cost a mala that I did recently for one girl.
108 8 mm Fluorite stones, big stones of Amethyst as deviders, metall deviders, little Amethyst "tails". All this arrives at about euro 25. And we speak about only stones.

0_23975_e945e6b_orig

And now, if somebody gives you a 108 stones mala from Lapis Lazuli at the price of euro 20, you have to think 2 times about this price. And read the description very good. And ask the vendor. What is written there? "Natural" stone? "Reconstructed"? "Dyed"? "Tinctured in surface"?

This is first of all about Turquoise, Malachite and C° ect. They are often false, reconstructed but not natural.

Find Your Zodiac Stone

Order the articles you like or ask questions writing me a mail (liudmila@mystic-gemstones.com)..Catalogue Main

MainNormally nobody from serious persons that work with gemstones will advise you to choose your stone according to your zodiac sign. There are many different reasons that I just described in my post many times. I'll add the list at the bottom of this post if you like to read them. Othervise open the Category Zodiac where you will find the updated list of the Zodiac stones in my Main Site/Newsletter Articles page.

But for those who wants to have his/her stone according to Zodiac here is an other point of view. So, do not pretend that these lists have to be equal. ;-) It's not MY fault.
(as you've read in my other posts there are different points of view. Some of them I summarized in my previous list as just said)

If you have changed the idea or want to "combine" the 2 ways to find your stone (and it's not bad, do it) You can read my other post How To Choose Your Right Stone

Well, said this we pass to the list. Some examples of the stones from my collection you can find if click the links inside the list. If you like my jewels but do not find a piece you would like to wear, consult the page with the stones I have (About-Stones) and I'll make for you YOUR UNIQUE personal jewel. Read the testimonials of the persons that wear my jewels ALL OVER the world!

Fluorite As Spring Mood

Order the articles you like or ask questions writing me a mail (liudmila@mystic-gemstones.com)..Catalogue Main

I'm very unhappy: for too much tasks I had these last days I did not made the bracelets that promised to present for this newsletter. Hope to have this possibility during the week.

My thoughts are about Fluorite today. I don't know why, the mood is so that the best way to explain it is to show you this splendid stone. I turned home in this moment and have to send you the newsletter before I can relax. So I wanted to tell you my day using a stone.

I had to go in Salerno at feet. And because the street passes near the sea, I could watch splendid special colors of sea and sky. They were very special, not as usual. I wanted to say, they are like Howlite in my necklaces but than I thought that fluorite explains them better. So, this is my tale about my day today.

Necklaces With Citrine

Carnelian shells is SOLD
I just wrote a post about Citrine in this blog but did not described the necklaces I have where I used this stone.

Here I wanted to write some words about it.

I like to use citrine in my necklaces. This stone donates special brillance to them. The best example I can make using the photo is the necklace with carnelian shells you see on the photo in uthe top here (original photo). This necklace is my favourite too because it's so solar and life-asserting, optimistic. Sea-shell beads add more holiday feeling to it. Very very joyful, really.

Amethyst necklace with big stones and teardrops is more strong, serious.
Aventurine and Leopard Skin Jasper necklase is colorful and playful as you see on the second photo (original photo). The other Amethyst necklace, with Peridot and Citrine, that has it's own earrings if you like to make a set, is very young and natural. Yes, I like them all.

To avoid to post many photos here and to show as much as possible of them to you I made a slide-show and present them here in this video. Vote it if you like, I'll be very glad to know you like what you see.

Copper Water With Jasper

Some time ago I read that is very healthy to drink water that was kept in a cooper vessel. The water we have in our house is not very good, so we have to drink bottled mineral water.

Than I found this vessel I liked very much and decided to begin to drink cooper water.

I don't know if I'm right making this experiment. Maybe I had to begin with a great research etc. But I thought about the Cooks that cook in the cooper kitchen utensils. I heard many times that it's the best metal to use in the kitchen. I even bought once cooper frying pan.

So, if you've read my posts before you will remember the story how I wanted to found a jasper cup. Jasper is a very powerful protector, and they say those who drink from jasper cup live healthy till 100 years. ;-)))0_2277b_27976d05_M

Well, I could not find a jasper cup, confess. But one of the vendors said me: why you look for something that do not exist? Take a jasper stone and put it in the vessel with water. So you will have a jasper water.

As you see I was very-very clever. I have a cooper vessel and put there a red jasper stone. As described in my post aboout stone infusions (Infusion Of Your Stone ), I wait 4-6 hours before I begin todrink this water.

We will see now how many years I'll live healthy. If other 100, it's not so bad, isn't it?

The Rainbow-Stone

Order the articles you like or ask questions writing me a mail (liudmila@mystic-gemstones.com)..Catalogue Main

What you see here is a necklace made using Tourmalin (green-brown) and Malachite. I've never wrote about Tourmalin till today so I wanted to correct this fact.
(original photo right side)

An Egyptian legend tells that tourmalin absorbed rainbow colors when flyed from Sun till Earth. That is why it is called "rainbow gemsone".

"Tura mali" means "a stone with mixed colors". Every stone is differentand can have different colors too. There are even stones that change colors in the day- and night-time. And there are those that have cat's eye effect.

This was maybe the reason that the persons thought, this stone has magic properties. They say, it makes love and friendship relations very strong.

The stone has high hardness, 7-7,5, so it does not need special treatments and precautions as not hard stones.

Interesting is that it's pyroelectric effect used Holland sailors to clean their pipes.
