Emerald Under the Feet

We love semiprecious stones but we never have seen the places where they are found. Except the shops. ;-) I wrote about mines in Argentina on April, 6 this year, now I want to show you something special. From Russia.

Stories about minerals (=semiprecious stones) helped me to learn a geologist, Michael Leikum and his book "Mysterious Stone of Zar Alexander II" you could read about in one of my previous posts ( Mysterious Alexandrite and Lost Emerald Crystals). I continue to read his book published in the posts of his blog and so I found an interesting post about one place you will like to see and you would like to visit -I'm sure. That is why I'll copy some of the photos here.

Well, these are not the stones that cost hundreds and tousands. But it's a great pleasure, I think, to find an emerald under the feet.

Ayurvedic View on the Precious Stones

Ayurveda is very known in the world and it's methods of the cures are often very effective. Our knowledge and understanding of this system is not deep (if we could speak about any understanding, we have to admit it honestly).

In the last period I receive an interesting newsletter with the advices of Dr. Torsunov (more about it you can read in my blog "Lazy Yogi"). Here I want to write about his view on the healing power of the minerals. It seemed to me interesting and relatively new.

So, there is a difference between precious and semiprecious stones because precious stones are connected with only one planet, semiprecious satones take their forces from more than one planet each.

The power of the planet is accumulated in the minerals with time and touching the skin of the person, this power passes in the body.

Red minerals (Rubin, Red Tourmalin etc) receive their power from the Sun and they increase the power of digestion, immunity, bones, blood, metabolism. The person becomes more happy, active, full of the wish to live.

A person that knows Ayurvedic method very good can not only help with the problems of a person but even change his/her destiny.
