My Bracelet from Lapis

Lapis Lazuli, as I wrote in my previous posts, is used for magic and they say, it has the capacity to grow the spiritual possibilities of the persons. But I wanted to have this stone because I like it's colour.

If you want to buy not very expensive lapis, you can find it in the so numerous shops where the semiprecious stones are in sell. And, even if you know that you can't find good stones for this price -lapis is expensive- you try the same. Some vendors can show you very beautiful stones. How can we understand that this lapis is good or not.

Cheep lapis lazuli that you will find in those shops is mostly gray. The name of the stone "lazuli" says you: the color of good stone is blue. Not gray.

Second peculiarity -and this is unpossible to avoid if you buy cheap stones- is that they have white parts. Expensive, good stone do not have white inserts. It's color is uniformly blue.

Last consideration is  inserts of "gold". The vendors say: this stone is so expensive because it has gold inside. No, it's not gold. It's pyrite.

So, here you see my stones with all the imperfections I described you here because I did not look for expensive lapis. I did a bracelet from it and take it every day now.
