Spring Collection of Donatella Versace

The parade of the new ideas of Donatella Versace was something that gave joy to the eyes and feelings in this days. I did not see it before because I rarely watch these shows in the last period. You will not agree with me maybe, but the creations of the stylists seemed be not for "normal" audience. The clothes were the flight of fantasy but rarely adaptable for the everyday life even if we include all the holidays in "everyday".

The clothes and accessories -for me- are something that serves to give us inspiration, to grow our self-confidence. It's no matter, you will buy them in a shop or do your wears yourself.

This time, I watched thte collection wwith the desire to become so: sunny, light -and brillant at the same time. I really liked what I've seen.

I envyed Donatella, too. She has excellent look. Specially, with a cloth from the same inspiration. When a woman knows that she looks like this at her age (it's my fixation, I know, I can't do anything with me), the wish to create gets off the ground, don't you think? And, contrary, when you know that you become more and more "dark", you leave any desire to fight... Eeehhh... Yes, I'm a little depressed after bellyfull of these days and I don't know how many additional kg-s.

Well, thanks to Donatella's collection the wish to turn back (=make exercices and eat less) resurfaced -and I wanted to share it with you.

Christmas Markets

Semiprecious stones are the most beloved material for the artisans in the last years. Specially because it's possible to find the stones easily. In many cases, you find just common pieces that come from the Asia. Sometimes, they are beautiful, other times -as we are just accustomed to see them. But in the far villages, in these godforsaken corners, there are still very interesting local artisans. They offer their works during the feasts like Christmas markets.

 I visited  one of these markets some days ago when partecipated on trekking long the streets of little medieval villages over Sorrento. It is really very hard for those artisans that have to earn their bread with this work. It is difficult in great centers -imagine how hard is the life of those who lives so far from the beatten paths.

In any case, when you find these markets, look at the objects with attention: it's possible that you will find special and very interesting pieces.

Are You a Christmas Fairy for Your Child? It's So Easy...

Excellent ideas -you find them sometimes literally in the street. I want to tell you how can you become a fairy for your child, even if she (it's more difficult with males of this age, maybe) is just 16 years old. The transformation wil not cost much for you in sense of money but will create a great sense of unity and love in the family -what all the children desire more than any other gift.

We need only a piece of red cloth, a fastener, a St. Claus cap and a little ball of soft part of the bread.

When your child goes to bed, wear a long white nightdress. Take the piece of red cloth and turn it around your body. Fasten it on your shoulder. Put on the St. Claus cap and maybe a beautiful mask. You don't need that the child does not recognize you. Contrary -it's a game when you both play your role.

Go to your child and give her the ball of bread. Tell her she has not eat it now, only after the magic ritual! Tell her a fable or chant something.
You can use a cake if you do it in the morning.

By the way, did you know that bread is excellent if you need to eat something before you go to bed? It contains substances that help us to sleep better. That is why you will use bread in the evening and cake in the morning.

Do it every evening of Christmas period. Donate your child the feeling of your love. Your baby needs it more than any other thing in the world. The sense of the unity with the mother.

Happiness costs not much. Happiness of the child costs even less.

Fashion: News of This Week is Grey with Stones

Grey with Semiprecious Stones... Somethng unacceptable for me till today. I never use grey, sincerely. I even do not have any object of clothing in my house to show you the concept I liked so much. That is why I took a piece of  fabric to take the photos.

First, I want to describe you the idea.
The model introduced by one of the stylist is to wear everything gray without any spot of other color. Grey only.
To make it precious you have to use stones. Necklaces, bracelets -everything you have. Adding many necklaces so as I described here in my previous post Necklaces -New Trend
I decided to play with the necklaces and bracelets I have for sale to see what stones will be better with "total grey".

This first, red jasper with opalite, seems the best combination among all other stones I present here.It has really special fashion



Other two photos with rose quartz and opalite are interesting, too. Rose quartz that is -for me- very good on dark skin finds it's excellent expression on grey.





This necklace so mystically brillant and dark seemed good for dark rooms and evening meetings even if not very expressive on grey in the daylight



Finally I tryed this howlite with opalite but... mmm... I did not like it  too much.
